This is some sad news. One of the members of the Cali Swag District, 22 year old Mbone, was killed early this morning. Not much information is being given but rumors are saying that he was killed in front of a liquor store, while others state that it was a studio shooting. No one has been named as a suspect, and we’ll be sure to keep you informed as this develops.
The CSD arrived on the scene last year when their song Teach Me How To Dougie became a worldwide hit peeking at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, #9 on the US Hot RnB/Hip Hop Songs chart, and #6 on the US Rap Songs chart.
We over here at Defglam send our condolences out to his family, and the group. It’s always sad to hear of someones passing, but its even sadder to hear about it when it’s about someone who has more to offer in life.
