Tiger Woods will make a public statement on Friday, February 19.

Woods has not spoken publicly since a massive scandal involving extramarital affairs blew up following a Thanksgiving traffic accident. Woods is on an indefinite hiatus from golf.

News that Woods would speak came via an e-mail from his agent Mark Steinberg and spokesman Glenn Greenspan.

“Tiger Woods will be speaking to a small group of friends, colleagues and close associates at 11:00 EST at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida,” the statement reads. “Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future and he plans to apologize for his behavior.”
