On Tuesday, a Houston Independent School District bus swerved off the overpass, killing two students and seriously injuring the bus driver and two other students. The students were being transported to Furr High School when the bus driver swerved to avoid another car and landed on its side on the access road below. The 17-year-old girl died at the scene and a 13-year-old girl died later at the hospital.
