Last night’s NBA Finals game between the Spurs and the Heat was one for the record books! If you were anything like me, you were jumping on your couch, crouched down on the floor and every emotion in between! The Heat ended up pulling it out in overtime with a score of 103-100 but the moment when Lebron’s headband came off is when the game took a turn. Not only for this game but for the contest overall forcing a game seven.
Lebron played so much better without the headband literally as BusinessInsider gives us these stats:
With headband (36 minutes): 18 points, 35.7% shooting (5-for-14), 7 rebounds, 8 assists
Without headband (14 minutes): 14 points, 50% shooting (6-for-12), 3 rebounds, 2 assists
So knowing that, should King James go into game 7 not wearing a headband? Or put it on and force him to rely on pure skill and talent? Lol! Let us know!
