At the age of 62, former Dallas City Council member  Leo Chaney Jr.  died after a fire at his home.  He serviced on the city council for 8 years, from 1999-2007.  He passed away at a Dallas hospital. Click here to read more.
Texas A&M University has officially purchased of the Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth. Â The purchase has been in development since June 2012, and starting in the fall term, the school will be now be called the Texas A&M University School of Law. Click here for more information.
This afternoon, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones spoke alongside Frisco representatives and announced that the Cowboys will be moving to the city in the future.
