The Miami Police Department has apologized for “inadvertently” using two images of JAY-Z in an anti-gang campaign. The Jay-Z sketches appeared in a banner on their website, with a headline that said, quote, “Report Gang Activity.”

In other news, Jay has a gretest hits album dropping Nov. 23.

Universal Music Group has finally set a release date for Jay-Z’s the Hits Collection — Volume 1. The compilation, which has been delayed several times, will drop on November 23. There will be four versions of the album: CD, vinyl, a Deluxe Edition and a Collector’s Edition Box set. The Deluxe Edition will be a two-disc set containing five previously-unreleased tracks and a 32-page booklet. The Collector’s Edition Box is another two-disc set with five never-before-released joints, but it also comes with a 100-page coffee table book crammed with exclusive, never-before-seen photos of Jay-Z and his friends.
