DALLAS – Detectives are looking for a man who robbed an armored truck driver at a check cashing and cash loan store Monday morning.
The driver from the Garda company was not hurt.
Police were called to the PL$ Check Cashers Loan Store at 2100 Singleton Blvd. shortly after 11 a.m.
Witnesses tell FOX 4 News that a man approached the driver and pulled a gun, demanding money.
He ran away with the money in a bag and got into a black Cadillac CTS with paper dealer plates.
The suspect is a black male, about 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a “fluffy” jacket, a black knit cap, and dark pants.
The case has been turned over to the FBI.
