DALLAS – A Dallas woman used a New Year’s Eve kiss as an opportunity to bite off her lover’s bottom lip, police say.
The incident happened at about midnight on Dec. 31 in the 18900 block of Lina Street in far North Dallas.
According to Dallas police investigators, a celebratory smooch turned gruesome when Kerri Lyn Smith attacked her boyfriend of four years.
Smith, 41, allegedly bit into the 55-year-old’s bottom lip and tore it form his face.
The unidentified victim called 911 for help and was later treated at a hospital.
He refused to press charges but Dallas police arrested Smith, charging her with aggravated assault/family violence.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the attack.
