Radio One, Inc.-Dallas KBFB 97.9 The Beat’s SUPA K & Keynote with The Godsey Law Firm and Ken Hamlin Will Get Christmas Gift Giving Rolling with 97 Bikes.
Dallas, Texas, December 14, 2009- Christmas holds many miracles and due to an on air plea yesterday to local businesses, ninety-seven children will experience the miraculous wonders of Christmas as SUPA K & Keynote along with The Godsey Law Firm and Ken Hamlin get rolling to give away 97 Bikes in 97 Minutes starting December 21, 2009 at 6:00 PM!
Radio One, Inc.’s KBFB 97.9 The Beat’s SUPA K & Keynote were reminiscing their childhood Christmases and the coolest present to receive was a new bike and how for families less fortunate, a good Samaritan, always stepped up to make Christmas possible. SUPA K & Keynote wished they could be the Samaritan and do the same for Dallas kids this year but due to the economy it was, regretfully not within their reach and thus made a plea to local businesses.
In less than five minutes, SUPA K & Keynote received two calls. David Godsey and Justin Martin of the Godsey Law Firm (A.K.A. IJustGotHit.com) called in stating their commitment to donate 97 bikes. The Godsey Law Firm is a law firm that handles personal injury cases. The other call was from Ken Hamlin, Safety for the Dallas Cowboys expressing his desire to participate and he would assist in the distribution of the one hundred bikes.
Beginning at 6: 00PM, on December 21, 2009 listeners will be instructed to call in to register to receive a bike for a child that is fifteen years of age or younger. SUPA K & Keynote will take calls to reach their goal of giving 97 Bikes in 97 Minutes and until all 97 bikes are gone.
Winners will be advised to come the next day, December 22nd to Radio One’s Studio located in the Valley View Mall at 13331 Preston Road, Suite 1180 in Dallas, Texas between the hours of 3:00PM and 5:00PM to receive their bike.
SUPA K & Keynote, David Godsey and Justin Martin of The Godsey Law Firm along with Ken Hamlin will fulfill the true meaning of Christmas beginning December 21, 2009 through December 22nd and create a lasting holiday memory for 97 kids!
