WEATHERFORD, Texas – A Weatherford couple has been arrested in what investigators are calling a horrible case of child abuse.
Police said Leanne Donovan took her 4-month-old daughter to the hospital over the weekend for a rash.
Hospital workers called police. The baby reportedly had injuries on her stomach, face, head, back and legs including bruises and several fractures.
Officers later arrested Donovan and her boyfriend, Daniel Bigley. Bigley is the baby’s father.
The baby is still in the hospital.
