KOUNTZE, Texas – A southeastern Texas grand jury has indicted two Silsbee High School students in the alleged sexual assault of a school cheerleader.

The indictments charge 18-year-old Silsbee player Rakheem Jamal Bolton and 19-year-old former player Christian Paul Rountree on single counts of sexual assault of a child.

Bonds of $250,000 were set for each, but a Hardin County Jail official says neither was in custody as of Tuesday afternoon.

The alleged attack came at a post-game party in October 2008.

If convicted, each could be sentenced to two to 20 years in prison. The indictments come from the second Hardin County grand jury to review the case. A previous grand jury declined to indict in January.
