Music Factory and Kountry Boy Records are giving local artists a chance to perform on the main stage at the 2017 97.9 THE BEAT Car Show! Here is how it’s going to work:
Chance #1: Music Factory Main Stage Contest – Qualifying Competitions (held on 8/12, 8/19, and 8/26), live at Music Factory. The Finals (featuring the winners from the Qualifying Competitions) will also be held at Music Factory on 09/02!
All artists can register for the Music Factory Main Stage Contest by calling (817) 907-4154 to compete for a chance to perform at the 97.9 THE BEAT Car Show scheduled for 9/17/2017.
The Music Factory Qualifying Competitions will be held on the following days/dates:
- Saturday, 8/12 – One winner selected (Week #1 Semifinalist)
- Saturday, 8/19 – One winner selected (Week #2 Semifinalist)
- Saturday, 8/26 – One winner selected (Week #3 Semifinalist)
All three (3) Semifinalists will compete, live on Saturday, 9/2/17, at Music Factory and the winner will perform during the 97.9 THE BEAT Car Show from the Main Stage.
- Saturday, 9/2 – Music Factory – Grand Prize Winner Selected
Note: If the winner of the Music Factory Car Show Main Stage Competition has already registered for a performance slot on the Car Show 2nd Stage, their fee will be refunded

Chance #2: Kountry Boy Records “Raising the Bar Stage” Contest: Held at Music Factory on 09/09/17
To enter the Kountry Boy Records “Raising the Bar Stage” Contest, contestants must do the following:
- Request and pay for a slot on the 2nd Stage by contacting BC at: 214 878-9054
- Complete all paperwork to confirm their 2nd Stage slot and request to perform during the 9/9 Competition by Saturday, September 2nd
- There are only sixteen (16) slots available for the 2nd Stage. All artists that confirm their 2nd Stage slots by Saturday, 9/2, will have a chance to compete during the “Raising the Bar Stage” Contest at Music Factory on Saturday, 9/9
- 9/09/17 – Kountry Boy Records – Grand Prize Winner Selected
Note: As a confirmed registrant for the 2nd Stage, the winner of the Kountry Boy Car Show Contest (held on 9/9) will have their money refunded
