Kanye West is not only disappointing fans by going out of his way to support and meet with President-elect Donald Trump, he’s disappointing his peers. The rapper was seen walking into Trump Tower for a short meeting on Tuesday morning, and even posed for photos with his “longtime friend” afterward. See one below.

Some have argued this is brilliant Kanye just making a deceitful attempt to get close to the new leader of the Free World. But regardless of his intentions, his methods are a little too much for most – including pal and music collaborator John Legend, who outright told he disagrees with ‘Ye’s public support of Trump.

“I don’t think it’s impossible to talk to [Donald Trump] about issues, but I won’t be used as a publicity stunt. I think Kanye was a publicity stunt,” he told the French company. “I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump. I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country. I think the things he’s promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing,” he continued.
