The Greatest Muhammad Ali Pictures Of All Time (PHOTOS)
0 photos

The charismatic, über self confident and legendary heavyweight boxing champ, Muhammad Ali, has died Saturday morning according to family. The humanitarian and sports icon was 74 years old.

Yesterday, he was admitted to a Phoenix hospital where he was being treated for respiratory issues and was reported in fair condition.

He will be remembered as ‘The Greatest’ due to his trash talking and “pretty boy” persona which he backed up in the ring. In 1981 Ali hung up his trunks and retired after a Trevor Berbick defeat during his 61st professional match.

Shortly thereafter, in the early 70’s, Ali began to show signs of sluggish behavior and neurological damage according to doctors. He was later diagnosed and became a spokesperson for Parkinson’s disease.

Ali leaves behind nine children, including daughter and boxing star Laila Ali. His fourth wife, Yolanda “Lonnie” Williams, had been married to the champ since 1986. Our sincere condolences to his family, fans and loved ones.
