A shootout yesterday afternoon at a city park in Euless has resulted in the death of Officer David Hoferon. The suspect, who was also shot and killed, open fired on officers as soon as they arrived at the park. Officer Hoferon, 29 and the suspect were both take to the hospital where the both died.
