Watch J. Cole rap Biggie Smalls’ classic joint “Hypnotize” at Shaun White’s Air + Style Music Festival.
J. Cole was the Friday night headliner at Air & Style, a new Los Angeles music and arts festival put on by snowboarder Shaun White. (The festival also featured performances from Action Bronson, the Flatbush Zombies, Migos, Danny Brown, Big Grams, and a big ass snowboard jump… looks pretty lit.)
Anyways, J. Cole was getting into “Who Dat,” one of his first big hits, when he suddenly switched gears and launched into the classic Notorious B.I.G. cut “Hypnotize.” Though he lacks the gruff baritone of ol’ Biggie, Cole held it down well enough for his fans to temporarily forget that he was supposed to drop an album with Kendrick this month.
