Actor Morgan Freeman is ok after his plane was forced to land after its tires blew out while en route to Houston according to his attorney. The plane took off from Clarksdale, Mississippi Saturday evening. Its tires were blown after takeoff, forcing it to land at Tunica Airport in Mississippi. The plane skid off the runway as it landed, damaging it further according to Freeman’s attorney William Luckett who is also the mayor of Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Another aircraft was scheduled to pick Freeman up and take him to Houston.

A law enforcement source said authorities received a 911 call following the incident. Two people were aboard the plane, but no injuries were reported, the source said.

A Multiple time Oscar-nominee, Freeman took home to award for his role as Eddie “Scrap-Iron” Dupris in the movie Million Dollar Baby.
