Michael B. Jordan Sylvester Stallone Creed set

It was a huge knockout weekend for Creed. The film scored the biggest opening weekend for any Rocky movie in the series’ 40-year history. It came in third overall, raking in a solid $42.6 million over the Wednesday to Sunday holiday frame.

The Hunger Games sequel dominated the box office once again this weekend, earning $51.6 million. The final installment in the highly successful series has grossed $198.3 million to date.

The Good Dinosaur came in at number two, raking in $39.1 million on its opening weekend.

Chrissy Teigen turned 30 over the weekend and her birthday celebration was full of laughs, just the way Chrissy likes it.

The soiree was hosted by Teigen’s husband John Legend at New York’s Comedy Cellar. Dave Chapelle performed as the guest and Legend serenaded his pregnant wife with the Birthday song.

Leonardo DiCaprio teams up with Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu for The Revenant. The TV spot aired during the fall finale of The Walking Dead and is inspired by true events.

The Revenant captures one man’s epic adventure of survival and the extraordinary power of the human spirit. The film opens in limited theaters on Christmas Day and expands to a wider release on January 8, 2016. Check out a clip of the TV spot above.
