In a perfect world, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez would kiss, make up, and live happily ever after, but your girl Selena has some serious will power and she ain’t having it – at least not yet.
Jelena went their separate ways awhile ago, but ever so often, diligent fans obtain the receipts that assure us all their romance is still very much alive. Over the weekend, for example, Justin was seen serenading his former flame with his own sweet rendition of “My Girl.” Not to mention, Biebs hasn’t exactly been coy about his love for the gorgeous singer while speaking to the press about his new album Purpose.
Just two weeks ago, he told i-D magazine:
“…You have the world who’s loving you but it’s not like they know my heart — they don’t know me. So when I found that love I was just like, ‘Whoa, I want to hold on to this.’ And I just put everything into it and in reality there’s just no holding back. You’re just like, ‘This love feels so good.’”
He’s got it bad. But according to TMZ, Selena’s still on her friendship tip with J.B.
Our sources say Justin and Selena are telling friends they haven’t hooked up again despite being inseparable over the weekend.
The two were spotted out in Bev Hills Friday night, and then again Sunday at Justin’s AMAs after-party at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood.
We’re told Justin and Selena kept their hands to themselves mostly at JB’s party, and they didn’t leave together at the end of the night. Justin left with Halsey, who appears on his new LP.
This is just one of those things that young people go through. Will Selena continue to keep her love locked down? We guess we’ll have to stay tuned to see…
