“It’s never pop culture official until Mike puts his 2 thenths in.” is what Quest Love of The Roots posted on IG the other day that got him an ear full from Mike Tyson (and almost an ear less…see what I did there?) when he visited The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Monday night.
He was there to promote the second season of his Adult Swim show, Mike Tyson Mysteries, when Jimmy brought up the meme. Mike, who thought him and Quest Love were “cool,” laughed it off then grabbed the mic to attempt to disprove that’s how he would sing it.
It’s all fun and games until someone loses an ear!
