Troy Ave was put on front street yesterday for the low sales of his album, Major Without A Deal. According to Soundscan, the independent release sold 4,373 digitally (30 physical).

Despite being released on a Friday, Billboard included the album in their first week sales report. Troy Ave and manager Hovain, took to their Twitter handle yesterday after being trolled online.

Hovain also chimed in:

“So now that billboard said it do you get it lol we prob jus short of 10k sold God bless and have a good night. So let me ask is 10k independent a failure ?We not slaves we don’t have to be humble it’s a choice , the way we feel about our self shouldn’t make you feel insecure.”
