This is so sad. We’ve seen more and more of these videos popping up showing parents recording their children being punished for getting in trouble or for bad school grades, then posting them for all to see. These types of videos may be coming to an end after 13-yr-old Isabel Laxamana from Tacoma, Washington took her own life.
Her father recorded her being punished for an unknown reason by cutting off her long hair and posting the video to YouTube. Days later she committed suicide by jumping off a highway overpass.
Many of her friends and family members believe the public shaming video played a part in her decision.
