Singer-guitarist B.B. King, the “King of the Blues” who helped define his genre’s electrified postwar sound and became the music’s best-known international ambassador, has died. He was 89. Attorney Brent Bryson tells The Associated Press that King died peacefully in his sleep at 9:40 p.m. Thursday at his home in Las Vegas. R.I.P. BB King.
