According to TMZ.com, Deion Sanders says he did not choke or slam Kevin Jefferson, the CFO of the Prime Prep Academy charter school that Deion co-founded last year, as he claims. He did, however, admit that a physical confrontation of a sort took place.
Cops in Dallas are investigating the incident in which Jefferson says Sanders “grabbed me by my throat and kind of threw me to the ground.” But Sanders says Kevin never was physically assaulted and the extent of the altercation was when they “locked up with one another.” Deion tweeted that Jefferson is a “fake administrator whom does absolutely nothing to help the school, kids or teachers reach our goals,” and is simply “looking for a pay day.”
He says he will cooperate with investigators, but so far has not been contacted by Dallas police about the matter.
