British boxer Curtis Woodhouse is the wrong one to heckle if you aren’t about that fight-to-the-death life. A Twitter heckler soon found that out when he received a visit from the boxer at his home.

Only identified as Jimmyob88, the heckler pushed Woodhouse over the edge after the embarrassing loss of his light-welterweight championship title by tweeting, “retire immediately cant even defend a pathetic little title you are a complete disgrace #awfulboxer.” Apparently, Jimmyob88 had been verbally abusing the boxer on the social site for several months. Curtis Woodhouse put his foot down and offered his followers a sizable sum of money to give him the address and a picture of the heckler.

After getting the information he needed, Woodhouse made his way to the heckler’s house. The boxer kept tweeting as he got closer to Jimmyob88′s home. As Curtis Woodhouse got closer to the home, Jimmyob88 began to feel a mixture of fear and remorse, tweeting, “I am sorry it’s getting a bit out of hand. I am in the wrong. I accept that.” Woodhouse was sitting on the block of the heckler when he saw that tweet and was satisfied enough to turn around and go home. While things almost got way out of hand, Curtis Woodhouse acknowledged the fact he was doing way too much. he later tweeted that all of this foolish could have been avoided if he would have just used his block button on the trash-talking boxing fan.

There is a lesson to be learned here. If a man is willing to continuously be punched in the face and consider it a way to make a living, he obviously has a screw or two loose. Don’t talk smack unless you are prepared to defend yourself. Whose side are you on in the situation?
