Rappers 50 Cent and Fat Joe have have not been the best of friends since they’ve gotten in the hip-hop game. However, the two men might do as the Bloods and Crips did in the early 90s and call a brief truce. Rumor has it 50 Cent and Fat Joe might share the stage BET’s Hip-Hop Awards for a Chris Lighty tribute.
At this point in time, nothing concerning Fat Joe and 50 Cent’s involvement has been confirmed. As much as we would love to confirm or deny these rumors, BET’s VP of Communication Tracy McGraw fueled the rumors by playing coy. “She was asked if a joey Crack and 50 Cent performance would be on the lineup, she responded, “That’s a good question. I think we’ll just go with ‘Could not confirm.’”
Out of respect for the recent lost of a mutual friend, peace has been made. Curtis and Joey shared the same stage during rehearsals for their Chris Light tribute at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Nice!
