According to WFAA:
The image of the “JS Roundhouse Mids,” which are set to release in August, was posted on the Adidas Originals official Facebook page on June 14. Since then, there were over 2,000 comments and 7,600 shares as of early Monday afternoon. Comments ranged from “racist and ugly” to “it’s an odd fashion statement” and “reminders of slavery cannot be ignored.” Others defended the style, calling it “fashion” and “just a shoe.”
