ACCORDING TO WFAA:

DALLAS – A man opened fire on a Texaco gas station in South Dallas with what was believed to be an assault rifle after an altercation with the clerk Friday.

At around 5:00 p.m., the suspect entered the Texaco station on the 3300 block of Haskell Avenue and engaged in an argument with the store clerk. The suspect stormed out as a second customer entered.

The suspect got behind the wheel of a brown Chevy SUV and fired several rounds from what appeared to be an assault rifle into the store.

The clerk suffered minor injuries when he was struck with debris, however the other customer in the store suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The customer was taken to Baylor Hospital, where he is being treated. He identity and condition are unknown. The clerk was treated at the scene.

The suspect is still at large.
