Rihanna – The “Only Girl In The World” singer Rihanna had a public tiff with R&B star Ciara that got worse before it got better.
Ciara was a guest on Joan River’s “Fashion Police” when a picture of Rihanna wearing a Christian Dior Couture piece to the Brit awards appeared on screen. Presumably Ciara was a guest to criticize the stars fashion choices, but Ciara took a different turn and commented on Rihanna’s attitude saying,
“I ran into (Rihanna) recently at a party. She wasn’t the nicest. “It’s crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”
Joan responded calling Rihanna a “bitch”. Then the Twitter battle ensued:
1st up Rihanna: “My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme.”
Ciara: “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.”
Rihanna: “U gangsta huh? Haaa,”
Rihanna: “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”
Ciara: “pure comedy….”
At this point Ciara is taking a hard beating and Rihanna’s publicist reportedly forces/encourages her to apologize;
Rihanna: “Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup”
Ciara accepted Rihanna’s apology saying: “Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let’s chat in person.”
