ITS GUCCI! Less than a month after DMX entered a prison mental facility, Gucci Mane finds himself in one as well.
According to TMZ, Gucci Mane filed a “Special Plea of Mental Incompetency” in a Georgia courtroom yesterday which stated that he was unable to “intelligently participate in the probation revocation hearing.”
The judge ordered Gucci into custody and he was taken to a mental health facility, pending evaluation of his mental state.
The AJCreports that Gucci was sent to Anchor Hospital, a 111-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Gucci has battled drug problems in the past.
Records show that Gucci has been in the Fulton County Jail at least five times since 2005 on drug, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges. Monday marked the second time in a year he’s been incarcerated for violating terms of his probation.
