HOUSTON – Federal authorities have arrested an Alabama man accused of inappropriately touching a female passenger and assaulting an air marshal during a flight from Amsterdam to Houston.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Houston says Robert Wade Prince was detained Saturday after his Continental Airlines flight landed at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
A criminal complaint filed Monday alleges the 47-year-old Prince became boisterous and ignored flight crew demands to be quiet.
The air marshal intervened after a woman complained about being touched. The complaint says Prince struck the marshal twice.
Prince faces charges of interfering with a flight crew and assault. A call seeking information on an attorney wasn’t immediately returned.
