DALLAS — Federal agents stopped counterfeiters trying to cash in on the NBA All-Star excitement.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents seized almost $200,000 worth of counterfeit merchandise. The more than 4,000 items included jerseys and T-shirts with logos from NBA and NFL teams.

The agents say the counterfeiters rip off consumers by selling substandard products.
