Dj Big Bink, a member of Radio One Inc. since October of 2000, was Born and raised by a single mother of four on the south side of Chicago, and believes that hip hop is a way of life. Big Bink started DJ’ing in 1985 in Chicago doing basement and block parties, but started to make noise while in college at Langston University where he graduated in 1995. After working for service broadcasting in Dallas, Texas he had an opportunity to be a Mix Show DJ for The Beat when it launched in September 2000 and now is the # 1 rated midday jock /music Director/Mixshow coordinator for 979 the beat. He still mixes on the air and at various clubs throughout the Dallas/Fortworth metro. “It ain’t nothing like being in control of people’s moods and having them move to your beat when u DJ…….I’ve been in the clubs consistently DJ’ing on the weekend since 1998 and the passion for music gets betta every year. “You only live once so do everything you want to do while the opportunity is there.

was wondering if you would know why a station gets dropped from an area.. I LOVE this station and it no longer plays ( Jacksonville/ Camp Lejeune ,NC) …*CRYING MY EYES OUT *.. the best station in the area and I cant hear it in my car =(
