The talented recording artist and model recently shared the stage with none other than Beyoncé at the 2016 MTV VMAs. How did this talented singer, model, and entertainer discover she was performing with the Queen?

“I heard her (Beyonce) new music playing, then I saw Blue Ivy!”

Demi knew Bey’s daughter, Blue Ivy, would not be running around by herself, so she knew the Lemonade singer was there. When Demi was called regarding the opportunity at the VMAs, she did not know which artist she would be performing with. Demi reveals to HelloBeautiful that she had been singing “Sorry” at 4 a.m. in the morning, then heard the song when she walked into the rehearsal for the awards show and saw Blue Ivy.

As you can see, Demi also has beautiful chocolate skin. She shares her secret beauty tip with us: “Milk of Magnesia. I have naturally oily skin and the only thing that has been able to control my oily skin is milk of Magnesia.” Demi also says she uses the Milk of Magnesia as a primer: she will apply it as a base, which is typically used as an antacid and laxative, and then put her makeup on top of it. Wow!
