BET AWARDS '14 - Radio Broadcast Center - Day 1

The Game was a target of a shooting just outside of “a famous Miami Beach hotel.”

The rapper, who performed at STORY Nightclub near the hotel on Thursday night, was not harmed.

From TMZ:

“Police tell us around 7:30 AM a Mustang convertible drove past the valet outside the Fontainebleau Hotel and fired multiple shots into a white Mercedes-Benz G Wagon … which cops are saying is associated with Game. The SUV was empty . . .

. . . The rapper’s manager, Wack 100, tells TMZ the vehicle that actually belongs to their crew is the black Chevy SUV next to the G Wagon and inside the police tape. He says their vehicle was not hit. Game also had a white Range Rover parked about 15 feet away from where the shots were fired.

Though TMZ hinted that Meek Mill or his entourage may be involved, there is no evidence to suggest he is. They connected the shooting to this moment from The Game’s show, when the rapper said:

“I just wanna beat that n—a a– one good time. When you see me, n—a, square up. It ain’t gotta be about no guns. F–k Meek Mill. I’m Game.” According to footage from the show, he also said, “Meek Mill not snitching on me? I never heard of that. F–k that n—a.”
