Broadway hit Hamilton has been on the tip of everyone’s tongues for quite some time now, so news that the play has been nominated for a record-breaking 16 Tony Awards this year hardly comes as a surprise.

Led by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the star of the live production is up for a few Tonys himself, including “Best Leading Actor in a Musical,” “Best Original Score,” and “Best Book of a Musical.”
