There’s a new crime story in town, courtesy of NBC.

Yesterday, it was announced that the network will tell the story of the Menendez brothers in a new spin-off series of Law & Order. “The first, eight-episode season of the anthology series will focus on the notorious case of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were eventually convicted of the 1989 murder of their wealthy parents. Lyle and Erik were just 18 and 21, respectively, at the time of the murders, and grew up in an affluent Cuban American family. The brothers argued that they had been the victims of sexual, physical and mental abuse at the hands of their parents,” The L.A. Times writes.

Barbershop: The Next Cut hits theaters in just over a week. Ahead of its big box office reveal, we’ve got a clip for you to tune into.

Ice Cube says he needed a reason to do the third Barbershop, because he doesn’t like doing sequels just to do sequels. “The reason to do this next installment was to show real live things that’s going on, on the streets,” he explains.

Shortly after the first-ever trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars story debuted on Good Morning America, it hit the ‘net.

“The film, set before the original 1977 Star Wars movie, centers around a group of resistance fighters on a mission to steal the plans for the original Death Star that the Rebels have in the first movie.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the spinoff stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed,” The Hollywood Reporter writes.

Rogue One will be in theaters this December. Stay tuned.

Naomie Harris and the famed hunk share an on-screen kiss for their new film Collateral Beauty, due in theaters December 16, 2016. Also starring Keira Knightley and Kate Winslet, the movie follows the story of a New York ad man who’s on a downward spiral after something tragic goes down.

'The Daily Show with Trevor Noah' Premiere

Nightly Show host and executive producer Larry Wilmore made THR’s “Most Powerful People in New York Media” list, alongside Daily Show host Trevor Noah.

The site writes: “While it has been an uphill battle (ratings took an abrupt 38 percent tumble), Noah, 32, has earned an audience and has become a go-to for politicos looking to ditch talking points (witness Sen. Lindsey Graham’s recent doomsday prognosis for a Trump nomination). Wilmore, 54, has seen a steep ratings drop compared with previous time-slot occupant Stephen Colbert, but he continues to lead late night’s diversity conversation — his regular segment “Blacklash2016: The Unblackening” offers a bracing take on Donald Trump’s war on multiculturalism. He’ll host President Obama’s final White House Correspondents’ dinner April 30.”
