Beyonce, Adele

If you believe – like the majority of the universe – that Beyonce is an angel sent from heaven, then her latest move may prove your point.

According to reports, Queen Bey has delayed the release of her new album so that Adele can enjoy her success a little longer. Sources revealed that Bey’s sixth studio album wrapped late last year, but due to a “code of honor to Adele,” she’ll hold off until the hype lessens. An insider added, “Now Adele’s sales are starting to die down, Beyonce is ready to drop her album at any time. But there’s a very strong chance the announcement could happen during the Super Bowl next month.”

We love Adele! But we’re patiently waiting for Beyonce’s sixth album to drop and make the world stop.

Cam Newton is becoming your favorite rapper’s favorite athlete.

As Newton and the Panthers took on the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, the star quarterback had some very unlikely cheerleaders by his side. Young Jeezy and Future showed up to dab with Newton as he led his team to the Super Bowl.

Cam is a huge fan of Future, who name-drops the potential MVP on his song “Rotation.” Talk about crew love.

Shonda Rhimes and ABC are a match made in heaven.

ABC confirmed a new pilot called Still-Star Crossed, a sort of sequel to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, which will be produced by the show runner. The program is based on Melinda Taub’s 2013 novel of the same name.

According to reports, Rhimes will bring along her Shondaland team, including Betsy Beers and Heather Mitchell. Mitchell will serve as both writer and producer, and Rhimes will be a non-writing producer.

No word on the premiere date of the pilot, but if it’s anything like Rhimes’ other ABC shows, we know it’ll be a hit.

Matt Damon is the latest star to speak about the lack of diversity in Hollywood, claiming the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences must do “much, much, much more” to enforce change.

The Best Actor nominee told The Associated Press“We’re talking about huge systemic injustices around race and gender that are a lot bigger than the Oscars. They’re massive issues in our industry and in our country.”

The Academy announced sweeping changes that include doubling its female and minority members by 2020, to which Damon replied, “[It’s] a wonderful first step.”

“But that’s what it is,” he said. “A first step.”

Damon came under fire in September and apologized for comments he made regarding diversity in filmmaking that sparked widespread backlash.
