It had all the makings of a scene from an upcoming movie, but this actor was caught up in a real-life drama.
California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire were called to an accident around 8:30 pm yesterday in the Hidden Valley area, northeast of L.A. When they arrived, they learned that actor Jamie Foxx played a role in helping save the driver from an overturned, burning car.
The car skidded off the road, hit a ditch and flipped in front of his house. He heard it go down, called 911 and ran out to the scene. After discovering the driver was trapped in his seat by his seatbelt, Jamie assisted by unbuckling him, pulling him out, and dragging him away from the car.
Police and fire eventually got to the scene and the guy was sent to the hospital with severe injuries including burns. Way to go Jamie!!
