The Chicago Police Department has finally released dash cam footage that shows an officer shooting a 17-year-old male 16 times in October, 2014. Officer Jason Van Dyke has been charged with first degree murder in the death of Laquan McDonald. McDonald is seen walking away from police with an knife in his hand as officers are pulling up.

The city has already paid a $5 million settlement to the family for the shooting. The 37-year-old police officer was held without bail. Warning, footage is graphic.
