You can’t hire a hitman to kill your estranged husbandof 20 years. Well that is what a 64-year-old Denton woman attempted to do and was arrested over the weekend. Police received a tip about the woman’s plot and began investigating in September. She offered an agent posing as a hitman $1,500 in six moths if he carried out the murder. Police believe the plot was motivated by a retirement fund she would benefit from in the event of her husband’s death.
