Here’s something some of y’all never saw coming: Kendrick Lamar rapping along to a Travi$ Scott song. For some reason, La Flame die-hards on HNHH think Kendrick spreads the plague every time he spits and K-Dot stans see Travi$ Scott as the antithesis of everything hip-hop stands for. Well, said rivalry doesn’t extend to the artists, as Kendrick was recorded singing along to “Antidode,” and Scott posted the video on his Instagram.It seems as though fans were singing lines from Scott’s “Antidote,” and Kendrick then gave a shout out to Trav, before singing along to the line, “anything can happen at the night show.”
“Antidote” has been Scott’s biggest hit off his debut album, Rodeo. The single has been steadily climbing the charts for 6 weeks and now sits at No. 41.
Does this mean we can put this nonsensical rivalry to rest? Doubtful. But a K-Dot remix of “Antidote” would certainly crash the site.
