Nicki Minaj will be the executive producer and star in a new comedy series for ABC Family. The scripted show is based on her life born in Trinidad, moving to the U.S. as a kid, growing up in Queens and becoming the international mega-star she is today.
“This is one of the more unique adventures I’ve ever embarked on,” she said. “I couldn’t be more proud and excited to team up with an amazing group of people to give the world something really special.”
