Yesterday, (Sept. 27) Lil Wayne turned 33, and as a good father should, Birdmanwished his son a happy birthday. We expect that he wasn’t able to do so in person, though, as the two are still in the middle of a $51 million lawsuit that Wayne first brought against Stunna in January.Though Birdman is content to continue calling Wayne his son, maintaining that nothing can bring them apart, Wayne is yet to say anything that would imply his feelings have changed since he first called himself a “prisoner” of Cash Money.

“Happy BDAY to my son,” Birdman wrote on Instagram next to a picture of Wayne. He also used the hashtag “ymcmb4life,” even though Wayne, to the best of our knowledge, still wants nothing to do with Cash Money and, if possible, wants to rule over Young Money as a solo entity.

We, too, wish Tunechi the happiest of b-days, and we’re glad he’s managed to have a productive year despite the label drama. Do you think this means that father and son will soon work things out?
