Mtv just announced that Nicki Minaj will not only perform for the second time in a row, but that she’ll be kicking off the entire awards show.
The Queen of the Barbs is nominated in a few moonmen categories including “Best Female Video,” “Best Hip-Hop Video and “Best Collaboration.” You might remember the recent tiff between Nicki and Taylor Swift started because the Barbs expressed her frustration on Twitter about not being included in the distinguished “Video Of The Year” category.
The two quickly made up and all that is now water under the bridge, allowing Nicki to focus on giving what insiders are calling a “jaw-dropping performance.”
She joins a performance lineup that includes Justin Bieber, Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd and more! The 2015 MTV Music Awards airs live this Sunday night at 8!
