Yet another blow to the Dallas Cowboy defense this season as starting linebacker Rolando McClain has been suspended by the NFL for four games.

McClain was found in violation of the league’s policy against substances of abuse.

“I apologize to my family, the Cowboys organization, my teammates and Cowboys fans for my mistake,” McClain said in a statement via the NFL Players Association. “I will not break the rules of my profession in the future, and I regret my error. I look forward to returning to the field on week 5, when I hope to help my team beat the Patriots.”

McClain was traded to the Cowboys during the 2014 season from the Baltimore Ravens after two retirements. Recent signee, Defensive end Greg Hardy is still awaiting an appeal on a 10-game suspension. This will be hit on the defensive end for the Boys looking to get to the Super Bowl this year.
