On Sunday afternoon, more than 2,000 people showed up at the House of Blues for an impromptu J. Cole concert. He announced the $1 pop-up concert on twitter at 4:03 p.m. and it was retweeted over 6,000 times. About 1,000 people were unable to get inside once the venue was full to capacity. Police had to be called to the scene when people started pushing and getting rowdy.
