His name is Harry Shotta, an MC from the UK and he’s created a song for the hip hop record books. The song is called “Animal,” a 6 minute masterpiece full of fast-moving rhymes that take you on a lyrical journey of ups and downs, whizzes and whooshes (technically speaking). It’s jam-packed with so many words, 1771 to be exact, that it leaves Em’s previous record holder, his 1560-word “Rap God” released in 2013 eating its dust!
Was he trying to challenge the Detroit MC? “This is purely about pushing our art and having some fun” he said in a recent interview.
