Jamaal Duane Allen (born October 26th, 1991) is an upcoming Hip Hop artist known by the alias FOOZY. Born in Oklahoma City and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma, Foozy picked up a mic at age 12 and hasn’t dropped it yet. Originally part of a 10 man collective known as Odd Squad, Foozy sought out solo success in 2012 and developed a style that blends millennial energy with a classic soulful sound while exposing all aspects of street life. Currently committed to touring regionally while building the buzz for his single Long Time Coming, which features another Oklahoma standout R&B artist SuperJay, Foozy is pushing his current mixtape ‘Salvation’ hosted by Canada’s DJ Cortez. In an era when you can’t get tired he is also working on his next solo EP and several group projects, putting in the necessary work to build his fanbase through a grassroots approach. Foozy has opened for artists ranging from Lil Ronnie Mutha F to E40 and Bun B with plans to experience their level of success. With a single picking up radio spins and street buzz, referred to by Sonny Mac of 105.3 Tulsa as “great song…I really like it!”, a current project approaching 10,000 downloads, a building video library, and a strong stage presence, Foozy is placing himself in a position to be one of the future stars of the music industry.
