A true definition of a Hometown Hero. Cheryl Action Jackson runs an organization in Plano, Texas, one of the richest cities in the United States, where she diligently feeds the hungry. She literally rolls out the red carpet so family in needs can come get food and still feel proud about themselves. She doesn’t ever give out anything she wouldn’t eat or feed her own family. Minnie’s, under her direction, teaches leadership skills and financial management classes to encourage and help those who have fell on hard time. She recognized by Oprah to Jamie Foxx and from Steve Harvey to TD Jakes for her philanthropy. She deserves this honor more than anyone I know. She is a true definition of a Hometown Hero.
